ADDERLink INFINITY dual is a high performance KVM extender (keyboard, video and mouse) that is part of the ALIF matrix solution. This allows you to place your sensitive computer hardware in a safe and temperature-controlled environment away from work areas. The existing display on the desktop is not affected by this.

Description
The ADDERLink INFINITY Dual 2112T is part of the ADDERLink INFINITY series and is a powerful KVM solution that allows you to isolate your critical computer hardware from users. This extender can be configured as Dual Link or Dual Head and delivers pixel-perfect video over distances of up to 10 km without compression loss and minimal delay. The ADDERLink INFINITY Dual 2112T is equipped with Real VNC and runs on your standard IP network, allowing up to 16 users to simultaneously and securely access computers outside your network. This KVM extender can be used as a point-to-point extender or integrated into a wider matrix system with the ADDERLink INFINITY Manager (AIM).

Features

The VNC server can be accessed with a standard web browser, but for better graphical performance a Real VNC viewer should be used. Free from the limitations of HTTPS, Real VNC greatly improves video performance. It delivers pixel-perfect video with up to 24-bit colours at a maximum of 2560x1600px or 1920x1200px for two sessions. RFB3.3 is supported for open source viewers.
Dual Link or Dual Head DVI
The ADDERLink INFINITY dual provides full DVI connectivity for dual link or dual head applications. DVI delivers native digital video signals from your computer to your digital panel (e.g. LCD) without the need for digital domain signal type conversion. By delivering native digital video throughout the ADDERLink INFINITY network, you can be assured of the accuracy of every pixel.
Ideal for control rooms
The unit can simultaneously serve a VNC-equipped video wall processor and an AdderLink Infinity-equipped user station, reducing control room infrastructure complexity.
Highly secure
The unit offers enterprise-grade security as standard (with AES 256-bit encryption and RSA 2048-bit public key authentication) and is further enhanced by the use of Real VNC, which enables the creation of encrypted user communications.
USB and virtual media support
To transfer files from remote users to controlled computers, the system has been designed to act as a channel through which data can be passed. Files can be transferred to the AdderLink Infinity Dual via IP and to the target computer via a virtual USB media port.
Power control via RS232 serial port
The unit has an RS232 port that allows communication with devices such as power switches so that the target computer can be rebooted remotely.
User management
You can create up to 16 user profiles with defined access rights on the VNC server. Up to 16 users can access the unit simultaneously.
Digital KVM matrix
By adding the AdderLink Infinity management system (A.I.M), you can turn multiple point-to-point extenders into a matrix system that allows any workstation to connect to any computer connected to the network. See the A.I.M data sheet for more details.
