Raritan's latest generation DVI HD KVM extender offers 1080p HD video quality when transmitting over Cat 5, plus advanced remote access to DVI and VGA ports on PCs, servers or KVM switches. The remote user console (USB keyboard, USB mouse, video and audio controls) can be located from 100 metres to 1,000 metres away from the remote device (via Ethernet switch series connection). This allows for placement in a separate, secure, non-hazardous environment. This solution also supports speakers and microphones.

Features
- DVI and VGA input/output with video resolution up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz
- Video/USB/RS232/audio base extension.
- When using Cat 5 cables, the distance may be up to 100 metres; in combination with daisy-chained Gigabit Ethernet switches, up to 1,000 metres can be realised
- Transparent USB extension: 2 x USB 2.0 ports for USB hub and 2 x USB 1.1 ports for USB HID such as touch screen (USB 1.1), printer (USB 2.0), smart card reader, keyboard and mouse (USB 1.1)
- Two consoles: one at the transmitter (TX unit) and one at the receiver (RX unit)
- Console switching with three cyclic modes: (1) TX and RX / (2) RX only / (3) TX only.
- Console switching via remote/local button on TX unit
- Bidirectional analogue audio line-in/line-out extension
- Transmission of one AV signal to multiple receivers via daisy-chained Gigabit Ethernet switches
